Dancing With WolvesTonight, amongst the smoke and the fireflies,
I am dancing with wolves - the stars in my eyes,
the wind blowing through my tangled hair,
makes this feeling so spectacular yet rare.

I know I'm considered a part of their pack,
when they tell me that they'll watch my back,
through the tranquil nights and eventful days...
...I feel like I'm slipping away...

As I awaken, I can do nothing but smile,
I think of those wolves for quite a while.
They'll be there; protecting me,
and I know where they will always be.

When the day finally ends,
I cannot wait to encounter my protective friends.
Once my head reaches the pillow...
I am surrounded by glori

The WolfThe moon has risen high in the sky,
But the forest, still black, has a secret to hide.
Not a creature stirs, but the king of the night.
A howling sounds, long, low, and out of sight.

I emerge from my cave, just awoken from sleep
By my stomach that says, it’s about time to eat.
I grit my teeth at the remembrance of
How I haven’t eaten anything since two days ago, that dove.

My stomach growls and I cover it up
With a growl of my own from the pain of the one.
I bare my teeth and look into the night,
Hoping to smell some food I can find.

I stalk out further and look around,
My ears held high, yet there isn’t a sound.
I wander

From the fjordsThe sky's a different shade here,
the trees of other root.
The soil, with pure emotion,
caresses each clean shoot.

As time itself seems halted
to him with open mind,
the majesty in silence
makes minions of mankind.

When life pass by around him,
behind him and beyond,
with brief, but lustful longing
he'll linger, then abscond.

The beauty of his moment
no stranger can relay.
Nor will he ever try to,
the native, save to stay.

The All-Consuming Fire Taking The All-Consuming Fire
Taking abuse again and again
Is like infinite fuel for a blazing fire

The fire continues to feed
The grass and the trees
Are burned while the others flee

The fire continues to burn
Leaving nothing to be desired

The rocks are covered black in ash
Those that see them
No longer see the beauty of them
Losing all hope that it will end
When they had enough
Can no longer stand running
From the predator that devours
All that it sees
They battle the fire with water
The water is like the poison
To all consuming fire
As the fire becomes weak
The water becomes strong
Giving fuel to the prey
The predator is dead
The hills are gr

We survived the Spring in OhioWe survived the Spring in Ohio:
From chilling to warming,
And lightnings and storming
To sunny and charming,
We weathered the weather together.

Soon Summer will simmer with heat.
The sun will be baking,
Humidity making.
There is no mistaking,
We'll be roasting for most of the season.

But here, on this first Summer's day,
Recalling the freezing,
We savor the breezing
And temp'rately pleasing,
Comf'rtably home in today.

Here We StandHere I stand ‘neath towers reaching taller
Stretching ever higher to their limit.
Here I stand in awe beneath their spires;
Never could I replicate the view.

Here they stand ‘neath mountains’ grander growing
With caps of white and crowned with rivers blue.
Here they stand in paltry replication
Of the rugged rocks—nature’s art.

Here she stands ‘neath skies of black and silver
The milky river arcing over all.
Here she stands in humble adoration
At the stunning sky ‘neath which she turns.

Here it flows ‘neath hands of righteous fire
E’ery piece does dance in math’ics law.

DawnI wake up from the land of dreams

While the songbird quietly chirps and sings;

The dawn is majestic on the horizon

With the blood-red star that is our sun.

The ground is damp with morning dew

For many lives to start anew,

For friendships to form strong bonds

Starts with the beautiful break of dawn.

The Whittle BirdAnd now we’ll talk about the whittle-bird

Which few have seen and fewer have heard

It’s a remarkable creature, small and shy

With wings so tiny it can barely fly

It’s an ugly little thing, I’m sure you’ll agree

Yet this strange little creature is a delight to me

With beady little eyes and a ginormous beak

If it were a human it simply couldn’t speak

It’s brown in colour with black spines on its back,

But they’re completely useless in a predatory attack

I hear you all say, this thing is absurd!

It’s so ugly it could barely pass as a bird

But this creature is simply not to be outd

Minutes drift on..

like sakura on the breeze...

as hours fall like leaves from trees.

ClematisOnce a royal beauty
Fairest among all
Fulfilling one’s duty
A harsh trial of law

Overseer of land
Protecting the weak
Her power so grand
Not without reach

Travels through time
Twisting and turning
Up the steep climb
She's watching and learning

With allies close
Higher she shines
All hail Clematis
Queen of the Vines

RainSoft silver droplets hitting my skin

Only to evaporate and fall again

Tiny tears hit my face and dribble down my cheeks

Making me smile with memories

It drips onto the leaves gently

And makes people on the streets move quickly

The water dancing along to its own tune

Falling from black clouds next to a big white moon

The sight and sound is such a beautiful thing

Singing its own song

Urging all the animals to sing along

I forget all my troubles, worries and pain as I dance with the animal’s chorus

To the sound of the rain.

The RabbitThe sun trickles through the trees,
The light sparkles on the leaves.
Another day in the misty forest,
Another new day to wake from long rest.

The sun finds its way into a small hole,
Fills it with light to let someone know
It’s morning, time to wake up and see
What’s out there, in the grass and leaves.

I uncurl and stretch my limbs,
Mouth open wide to let a yawn in.
I use my hind leg to scratch my right ear,
Then stretch one more time before I leave here.

I poke my head out and smell the fresh air.
Crawl out of my hole and feel the warmth there.
I twitch my pink nose, and ruffle my brown fur,
Then let one ear flop, and waddle

Silver LadyThe flowers around me
Bow their heads in submission,
The lilies blushing under my silver gaze
As the roses lean away from me,
Remembering their thorns.

The sky above me
Is black – in the blued edition –
Sparkling like none of my best bouquets
Reminding me of the mystery
It hides before its morns.

I sit beside the sea
As my knights await commission
And wonder what life’s never ending maze
Holds for me and my distant destiny,
Watching as the Star mourns.

Ribbons on my ballet shoes, frayed
Let them fall where they please.
Gracefully floating down,
Folding over praising the ground.

Let them fall where they wish.
Pray for life to spring.
